Well, I don't have much to say other than Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! How was everyone's Christmas? Ours was pretty good. The girls were and still are sick with colds, so that wasn't fun, but other than that it was a good day. Saw family and friends, had some good food, opened presents....you know. Here's a pict of me and the girls. Aren't we beautiful??? :)

well it's been a while since I posted. I've been a little busy lately. My grandpa passed away last monday. No surprise though. He had been fighting cancer and Alzheimer's for over a year. So, we had to go to Iowa last week for a couple days. Before all that we had planned a trip to Madison to go to a good friends graduation. So after we were in Iowa we went up to Madison for a couple days, which was fun. Since then I've been trying to do my Christmas shopping. Yeah I know I'm a last minute shopper, but it makes it more exciting that way. :) Anyway, on to more exciting things...Madison has take up intrest in our digital camera. Here are a few examples of her work.

Funny stuff.

Well....2 things. First, we put up our Christmas Tree yesterday. It looks pretty cool and our house smells great too (that's because it's a real tree). Yes! A REAL tree! What do people have against having a real tree?!? I've had numerous people look at me like I was crazy when I said that we always get a real tree at Christmas. Then they go on to tell me what great deals I can get on a prelit fake tree if I go shopping the day after thanksgiving or the day after Christmas. I DON'T WANT A FAKE TREE!! And I espically don't want to go shopping the day after thanksgiving or the day after christmas! What is wrong with people?! Sheesh. Well, now that I've got that off my chest....Second, we went to see The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe last night. It was a pretty sweet movie. I'm really proud of myself because I started reading the book last sunday and I finished it yesterday before we went to the movie. Good book, good movie, all around a good experience. Read it, see it. That's my recommendation. :)

Well, here's what's been going on with me. I just finished my first stage play with Liberty Productions (the drama ministry at our church). We did Arsenic and Old Lace and I was Elaine (Mortimer's fiance). It was a ton of work and last week was probably one of the most stressful weeks in my life. But - it was worth it. It was a ton of fun and I got to meet and hang out with people that I probably would have never met otherwise. There were only a few glitches that happened in the play; one was that Friday night in the 3rd act we ran out of Elderberry wine so there was no wine to kill off Mr. Witherspoon at the end, and the handle on the door to come into the house broke, so you had to turn it a certain way so you could get in. I did have one practical joke played on me. Matt Witty who played Dr. Einstein soaked his handercheif in cologne. Big deal you say. Oh wait, that handkerchief he shoves in my mouth! Yeah, disgusting. I was tasting cologne all night. So Matt, if you're you're out there....Don't worry, you'll get yours. ;) If any one has any ideas on how i can get him back let me know. Hee Hee (evil laugh).

Well, I've decided to get on the blogging train. Why? Well, it seems to be what everyone is into so I figured I would give it a try. Might as well ride the wave. :) And yes, I know "meanderings" is not technically a word. BUT meandering is indeed a word. And I think it fits what I am trying to do here quite well. What exactly does it mean you might ask? Meandering: "follow a winding course; wander at random; proceed aimlessly or with little purpose; a circuitous journey." So come check out my blog, make some comments. You never know, it might be interesting....
